My Sincerest Apologies...

So sorry I have been SO bad at this... I promise to at least try to do better. I have lots of new pictures that I could add... if I just stop procrastinating!

That is my constant model... my lovely husband... on a trip to Williamsburg, VA.

And this is a Beautiful church back home in good old Aberdeen, NC.

I promise, promise, promise to be better at uploading here!!

Thanks for reading!

So I went for a walk one day...

And look at what I found! This is at the NC Art Museum in Raleigh, NC. There are walking trails full of sculptures around the museum that I never knew were there... These are a few of the shots I took of the three ring sculptures.

Hope you are all having a great week so far!

Country life is the life for me

The top picture is just a pretty plant that I found on a walk around the NC Art Museum one afternoon. I'm not sure what it is... but it sure looks pretty and fun!

The bottom picture is just an old tobacco farm and barn that we found one afternoon on our long drives. Don't remember where this was, but I love the view.

Weekend Adventures

Matt and I spent a day last weekend just riding around looking for cool things to take pictures of. Matt is pretty patient with me with these things. We found lots of cool things and places, a tobacco farm and old barn, another old barn with cool barb wire in front. County settings are my favorite!

This was one of my favorite photos from the day. I love the way the fence frames it.

I'm trying out some different things here. Still trying to figure this technique out.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far!!

Yummmmm.... :)

Weed... or Art?

This is my mama's kitchen windowsill. I don't particularly like to eat tomatoes... but I sure do like to take pictures of them. :)

I love these. I did a series of shots like this. They definitely do not look like weeds to me!

I was trying out some different things here. I'm trying to get the whole clear/fuzzy thing down. I'm kinda understanding it, but I still need a lot more practice. But, for a beginner... I'm pretty happy with it!

Stop and Smell the Flowers

All of these flowers are in my parents yard. I love photographing flowers, the details and color amaze me. Flowers are a great way to practice lots of techniques.

This one is my favorite! Love the details. I just love sunflowers in general.
